Cheesecake Recipe
Ingredients:
For the crust:
- 1+1/2 cups graham cracker crumbs
- 1/4 cup granulated sugar
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
For the filling:
- 4 packages (8 ounces each) of cream cheese, softened
- 1+1/4 cups granulated sugar
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 2/3 cup sour cream
- 2/3 cup heavy cream
Instructions:
- Preheat your oven to 325°F (160°C) and grease a 9-inch springform pan.
- In a medium bowl, combine the graham cracker crumbs, sugar, and melted butter. Press the mixture firmly into the bottom of the prepared pan.
- In a large bowl, beat the cream cheese until smooth using an electric mixer on medium speed. Add the sugar and vanilla extract, and continue to beat until well combined.
- Stir in the sour cream and heavy cream until the filling is smooth and creamy.
- Pour the filling over the crust in the springform pan and smooth the top with a spatula.
